If you stepped out of Boss Croker's at halftime of Game 4, we don't blame you, but you missed history.
The San Antonio Spurs looked absolutely unstoppable in the first half, putting on a clinic and mounting a monstrous 29-point lead (81–52 in the third quarter). But as any Knicks fan knows, you can never count out this squad under the bright lights of Madison Square Garden.
The Rally
Behind a ferocious home crowd and lock-down defensive adjustments, the Knicks orchestrated a blistering 58–30 second-half surge. Jalen Brunson was a man possessed, driving through contact and draining clutch shots to finish with a game-high 36 points. OG Anunoby was equally heroic, locking down defensively while chipping in a spectacular 33 points.
The Tip-In Heard 'Round New York
With just seconds on the clock and the Knicks trailing by one, Jalen Brunson launched a deep, contested three-pointer. As it rattled off the rim, OG Anunoby soared through the paint, tipping the ball in with just 1.2 seconds remaining on the clock to seal the 107-106 victory.
One Win Away
The win puts the Knicks up 3-1 in the NBA Finals. They are now just one victory away from capturing their first championship since 1973.
